The Technologies Used
This pilot evaluates the integration of non-invasive body composition and lymphatic technologies within a clinician-led care model. These tools are used to support metabolic signalling, lymphatic clearance, and objective progress tracking — not as stand-alone treatments.
The primary technology used within this pilot is the Emerald® Laser, a low-level laser therapy system that has been studied for its role in circumference reduction and body composition support.
How the Emerald® Laser Works
The short video below provides a brief overview of the Emerald® Laser, including benefits such as:
Emerald® Laser
• Supporting fat cell lipid release
• Non-thermal, supports cellular health
• No downtime

In addition to the Emerald® Laser, this pilot also incorporates:
Ballancer® Pro
• Lymphatic flow support
• Circulatory enhancement
• Post-treatment metabolic support

Styku® Body Composition Scanning
• Objective body-composition measurement
• Non-invasive, scan-based assessment
• Progress tracking across the program

These technologies are used within a clinician-led framework and are informed by published research, outlined below.
What Does the Research Show?
This pilot is informed by published clinical research evaluating non-invasive laser and lymphatic technologies for body composition support.
While this pilot does not guarantee specific results, studies evaluating low-level laser therapy protocols have demonstrated outcomes such as:
• Circumference reduction — in some studies, up to approximately 15 cm combined loss across areas such as the waist, hips, and thighs over a treatment course
• Improvement in the appearance of cellulite
• Improved skin tone and tissue firmness in treated areas
• Reported increases in energy levels
• Improved sleep quality reported by some participants
Individual responses during this pilot may vary depending on baseline body composition, metabolic health, treatment frequency, lifestyle factors, and adherence to guidance.
Example peer-reviewed research includes:

Safety & Tolerability
The technologies used in this pilot are non-invasive and well-tolerated, with published studies reporting no significant adverse effects when used as directed.
Sessions are painless and do not require downtime, injections, or medications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Body Composition Pilot:
Redefining Body Composition Through Clinical Precision
Is this a weight-loss program?
This pilot is not positioned as a traditional weight-loss program. It is a clinical evaluation focused on body composition, metabolic function, and lymphatic support using non-invasive technologies.
The Emerald® Laser is not a weight-loss solution in isolation. It supports fat metabolism and body composition, particularly in areas that may be resistant to change, and is most effective when integrated into a clinically guided wellness or weight-management approach. Its mechanism involves the reduction of fat cell volume rather than tissue destruction.
While changes in body measurements or weight may occur, individual outcomes vary and are influenced by baseline metabolic health, physiology, and lifestyle factors.
Is the Emerald® Laser safe?
Yes. The Emerald® Laser is FDA-cleared, non-invasive, and does not damage tissue. It uses low-level laser energy to support natural fat metabolism without heat, pain, or downtime. All treatments within this pilot are clinician-guided to ensure suitability and safety.
How is the Emerald® Laser different from other body contouring treatments?
Unlike more aggressive body contouring technologies, the Emerald® Laser works gently with the body’s natural metabolic processes. There is no tissue destruction, no recovery period, and no post-treatment soreness.
This makes it suitable for individuals seeking metabolic support, improved body contour, and circumference reduction without invasive procedures or downtime.
Are medications, injections, or calorie restriction involved?
No. This pilot does not involve prescription medications, injections, or extreme calorie restriction. Support is provided through clinician guidance and non-invasive metabolic and lymphatic optimisation strategies.
Who is this pilot most suitable for?
This pilot is best suited to adults who have experienced stubborn or hormonally influenced body composition changes and who value a clinically guided, discreet, and evidence-informed approach.
It may not be appropriate for individuals seeking rapid or guaranteed weight-loss outcomes.
What level of commitment is required?
Participants are expected to attend scheduled sessions (typically one to two sessions per week) and engage with the program protocols for the duration of the pilot. This level of commitment supports both continuity of care and the integrity of the clinical evaluation.
Are results guaranteed?
No specific outcomes can be guaranteed. As with all clinical interventions, individual responses vary. This pilot is designed to evaluate real-world outcomes and usability rather than promise uniform results.
That said, published studies evaluating low-level laser therapy protocols have reported outcomes such as:
Circumference reduction — in some studies, up to approximately 15 cm combined loss across areas such as the waist, hips, and thighs over a treatment course
Improvement in the appearance of cellulite
Improved skin tone and tissue firmness in treated areas
Reported increases in energy levels
Improved sleep quality reported by some participants
Why is participation limited?
Places are intentionally limited to ensure a high standard of clinician oversight and to maintain the integrity of data collection. Participation is by application only.
Will there be ongoing access after the pilot?
Participants recognised as Founding Members may be offered preferential access to future programs or ongoing Emerald® Laser sessions at pilot rates, where clinically appropriate. Ongoing access is considered on an individual basis and is not guaranteed.
